Hi, I'm Charity!

My name is Charity Partlow, Char to some, and I am from Houma, Louisiana. I am currently attending Southeastern Louisiana University where I am majoring in Communications, with a concentration in Television and Multimedia Journalism. Here, I will be taking a wide variety of classes through the years I am here on this campus, therefore I will showcase my work from each class I take on this website. Despite my concentration, I am willing to learn a multitude of skills in the broad world of communication, as well as the marketing world. I am a flexible person that likes to learn something new everyday!

Ever since I was a child, I have always had a passion for writing. I also looked up to news anchors on the daily news, especially Sheba Turk, who formerly anchored and reported on WWLTV New Orleans. Since then, I have been a high school sports photographer for three years and decided to continue my education at Southeastern in order to become a professional in the Communications/ Journalism field one day. Not only do I enjoy taking photos, but I also enjoy writing articles, filming content, and interviewing new people in order to get their perspectives on different events, games, news, etc. Not to mention, I am grateful to be graduating from college a year and a half early. I plan to attend Graduate school after graduation, where I will be getting my Master's degree in Strategic Communications. Additionally, I took some courses in Marketing along with my major in order to build more strategic skills, recognizing consumer behavior and what the audience looks for to better promote businesses and other events and places.
